Joe Sevier is a native of Tennessee and a 2002 graduate of The University of Memphis' Department of Theatre and Dance. He has performed at regional theatres across the country including The Greenbrier Valley Theatre in Lewisburg, WV and Horsefeathers and Applesauce Summer Dinner Theatre in Winfield, KS. Too, he spent a year touring the country with The Hampstead Stage Company (formerly The Hampstead Players)--a group, based in Ctr. Barnstead, NH, dedicated to bringing quality theatre to young audiences.
Joe's first foray in NY theatre was with Manhattan Children's Theatre's 2004 production of Rumpelstiltskin. He has since returned to MCT to work on several occasions as either actor or stage manager. Since then he has worked with a handful of companies in New York, including: The Milk Can Theatre Company, FHB Theatre Productions, Small Pond Entertainment & Manhattan Theatre Source. Through these productions he has had the opportunity to originate a handful of characters--most notably the title character in Love, Joel in the 2005 Estrogenius Festival, Charlie in Proof by Disproof at the Sanford Meisner Theatre & Tito in Waves & Beaches which premiered in NYC at Shetler Studios and then played at The Southampton Cultural Center. He has also done some work in feature and indie films. By holding to the belief that it is important to constantly challenge and refresh oneself, Joe has continued his study of the performing arts at The School for Film and Television.
Joe is currently seeking representation.
